Refunds
When you can have your money back, how to ask, and how long it takes.
This policy is not ready to publish
It cannot yet name the registered entity name, the RC registration number or a registered postal address. Fill these in under Settings → Identity before launch.
The short version
If you have bought something and barely used it, write to us within 14 days and we will refund you. If you have worked through most of it, we will not.
Courses and workshops
Within 14 days, if you have completed less than a quarter of the material — full refund, no reason needed.
After 14 days, or once you have gone past a quarter — no refund, because the material is delivered the moment you open it and cannot be returned.
If a certificate has already been issued — no refund. The credential has been earned and cannot be handed back.
The all-access pass
Refundable within 14 days if you have opened no more than one workshop. After that it is not refundable, since its value is the breadth you have already had access to.
E-books
Refundable only if the file will not download or is not what the page described. Once a file has been downloaded successfully it cannot be returned.
When we refund without being asked
- You were charged twice for the same thing.
- You paid but access was never granted.
- A course was withdrawn before you could finish it.
- The material was materially not what was described.
If any of these has happened, tell us and do not pay again.
How to ask
Write to the academy from the address on your account and include the payment reference from your receipt. We will answer within five working days.
An approved refund goes back to the card or account it came from, through Paystack. Paystack's own timing applies, which is usually five to ten working days.
Chargebacks
If you raise a chargeback with your bank we will suspend access to the material in dispute while it is investigated. Talking to us first is faster.
