Employers and registrars may check any number without contacting the Academy. Nothing about the enquiry is recorded against the holder.

What a check tells you

Valid
The register holds the certificate and it stands. You will see the holder's name, the course, the date of issue and the number — nothing further.
Withdrawn
The Academy issued the certificate and has since revoked it. The record stays public precisely so that a printed copy cannot outlive its standing.
No match
No record exists for that number. Most often a digit or the GEPA-ELA- prefix has been dropped in transcription.
